THE SHOP THEN OPENED IN FEBRUARY OF 2004.DEJAVU STARTED OUT WITH A COUPLE OF SURF BRANDS, BILLABONG, RUSTY, FOX RIDERS, CROCS AND GREAT JEAN BRANDS LIKE MISS ME, SEVEN, SILVER, AND JOE'S. FORMAL LINES INCLUDED ALYCE DESIGNS, FAVIANA, AND JOVANI. THEY GREW QUICKLY AND MOVED INTO A STORE TWICE THE SIZE ON SEPTEMBER 1 2006. ON SEPTEMBER 2 2007 MOUNT AIRY HAD A MAJOR FIRE. EIGHT BUSINESSES ANS SIX APARTMENTS LOST THEIR SPACE TO THIS CATASTROPHE. TWO MONTHS LATER DEJAVU MOVED INTO A TEMPORARY HOME AND STARTED TO REBUILD THEIR SHOP. OCTOBER 18 2008 WE MOVED INTO A SPACE FOUR TIMES THE SIZE OF OUR ORIGINAL STORE. WE NOW CARRY ALL THE TOP BRANDS INCLUDING FREE PEOPLE.
